At UNNAMALAI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, compassion meets action through our vibrant Youth Red Cross (YRC) program. Committed to humanitarian service and the well-being of our community, our YRC endeavors to make a positive impact, one act of kindness at a time.

Key Focus Areas:

  1. Blood Donation Drives: As lifesavers in the making, our students actively participate in organizing and participating in blood donation camps, contributing to the noble cause of saving lives.

  2. Health and First Aid: Equipping our students with essential first aid skills, we conduct workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs to foster a culture of health and well-being.

  3. Disaster Preparedness: We believe in being prepared for any challenge. Our YRC conducts workshops and simulations to enhance awareness and preparedness for natural disasters and emergencies.

  4. Community Outreach: From supporting vulnerable communities to organizing relief efforts during crises, our YRC is at the forefront of community service initiatives.

Recent Achievements:

  • Blood Donation Milestone: Achieved a record-breaking number of blood donations in the last academic year, making a significant contribution to local blood banks.

  • First Aid Training: Trained over 200 students in basic first aid, empowering them to respond effectively to emergencies on and off-campus.
